Made for bass music, and just as useful in hip hop, trap, pop, game soundtracks, film and video.
The best tracks fill every gap with something weird. Put a crunchy right before a kick or snare, or layer it on a bass, for instant texture. Sit a noise layer or background under a drop to glue it together. Throw a lazer or a riser into a transition and the drop hits harder.
